WeatherDeck™ Water Resistant Circuit Breaker Panels are versatile enough to meet the needs of most boaters. They are available in four or six circuit versions and can be mounted in any of four orientations.
Each circuit contains 15 ampere circuit breaker and single pole single throw (SPST) toggle switch. This basic configuration will meet most of your needs. However, to meet a broader range of applications, you can install different circuit breakers with current ratings from 3 to 15 amperes, and different switches with a variety of actions.
Thermal-Trip, Manual-Reset-Only Circuit Breakers
Thermal push button circuit breakers are available in amperages of 3, 4, 5, 7, 10, 12, and 15 amperes, with an interrupt rating of 2500 amperes. Waterproof boots protect circuit breakers in wet environments. Their compact design enables high-density circuit protection configurations. Backlightable labels are provided for circuit identification.
Because of their mechanism, thermal-trip circuit breakers have a built-in delay to accommodate current peaks, and trip-free design that cannot be held ON during fault current conditions.
WeatherDeck™ Toggle Switches
The installed switches are specially manufactured by Carling Technologies for Blue Sea Systems' WeatherDeck™ Water Resistant Circuit Breaker Panels. They are made with nickel-plated brass and phenolic non-corrosive materials. Waterproof boots are installed to protect the switches.
The single pole single throw (SPST) toggle switches installed in WeatherDeckTM panels can be replaced with switches that have these actions:
